About Artist Eric Anfinson
Born in Austin Minnesota, in 1985, at the age of 16, Eric was critically injured in a high school football game. Following years of recovery, and extraordinary life experiences, he embraced his artistic calling and moved to the island of Key West, Florida. Throughout his 20 year career he went on to create over 700 paintings. He has held numerous exhibitions, and established an international following of collectors. His primary focus was centered on oil on canvas portrature.
About the Film
Body of Work is a short documentary film created alongside Eric by filmmakers Cassidy Rast and Odin Wadleigh.
It is a story of resilience, creativity, and the power of the human spirit.
We are set to premiere the film at festivals Worldwide and domestically throughout North America in 2026.
Directors Statement
We created this film to share a glimpse into Eric’s life and to highlight the extraordinary challenges he has overcome on his journey to becoming an artist and we are honored to be a part of the telling of his story. The film utilizes cinematic recreations, interviews, and archival footage to share a glimpse into Eric's past and present. We produced this film independently and was made possible with the support of the communities we worked with. This is a true testament to independent filmmaking and the power of community.
